There are two light microscopy systems available.

Zeiss Axio Imager

The Zeiss Axio Imager is an innovative, modular microscopy platform for all routine and research requirements and applications. Transmitted and reflected light microscopy with magnifications from 15.75 to 1000 are possible with the best optics IC2S Principle with the highest resolution in all contrast methods. The images can be captured by a digital camera (AxioCam MRc5), saved for instance as .jpg-file and also distances in the picture can immediately be measured with the software. There is also the possibility to polarize the transmitted light. The depth of sharpness can be increased by using the z-stack module, that can automatically produce pictures in given z-region, that can be combined to a final sharp picture.

Axio Scope

The Axio Scope is a versatile stand from Carl Zeiss and it is ideal for routine applications and highest demands. The images can be captured by a digital camera (AxioCam MRc5), saved for instance as .jpg-file and also distances in the picture can immediately be measured with the software.
