The Optotrak Certus e-type Optical Measurement System is an active marker system that can be used for cinematic analysis and the accurate measurement of the position of individual markers (36) or rigid bodies. The system can be integrated to the servo-hydraulic testing machine for measurements of local displacement and strains. The measurement volume is about 5.5×4.2×3 m and it works with an accuracy of 0.1 mm and a resolution of 0.01 mm at a distance of 2.25 m from the sensor. The machine measures frame frequencies up to 1500 Hz.
